I’ve worn this outfit all over the place the last few weeks. I’ve had tons of questions and compliments on the top and I completely understand why! It’s such a functional piece that can transform from casual to dressy with just a few accessory changes. I’m in the short rows of wearing cute clothes everyday since the fall dance season starts in a week. Once I’m back at the studio full time, it’s athletic clothes all day everyday for me! So, I’m definitely going to make the most of it while I can. On a real note, these shoes are a dream. I’ve already told my mom I going to wear them on my wedding day, whenever that may be lol. They are more comfortable than any of my tennis shoes and look so similar to one of my favorite designer’s loafer pumps. I got them from TJMaxx for a STEAL! Happy Eclipse day everyone, don’t look at the sun!!!

Hand-Me-Down Turned Up

Nothing beats getting clothes for free, so hand-me-downs are always one of my favorite things. This romper is the product of one of those hand-me-down times! I love the floral details and that it buttons down the front. It’s a skort romper (very 90’s) and is beyond comfortable. It reminds me so much of the rompers made by Show Me Your Mumu – a few similar ones can be found here and here. I paired it with a hat from Forever 21 (similar here) my favorite Lucky Brand Shoes from Belk, and sunnies from It’s Fashion Metro.

Faith Friday – Simple Reminder

I’m super proud of all the girls celebrating the many sales department stores are currently holding – I’m not going to lie, I’ve done my fair share of looking as well as shopping, but I just wanted to share a little thought with y’all – your worth isn’t based on the clothes you have. It’s not based on the brands you work or don’t work with. Your worth isn’t measured in the number of Instagram followers you have, what your engagement for the week was, or how strong you SEO is – your worth is found in Christ. Clichè to say, I know, but it’s true. It’s found in Him because He declares your worth as priceless. You’re beautiful, smart, special, and incredibly unique. Don’t become so enveloped with “things” that you lose your purpose. In a world where how “liked” you are is measured quantitatively, it’s easy to compare yourself to everyone around you and visually see their strengths. I’ve  dealt with insecurities and compared myself to girls only to realize they share similar insecurities. People only put their best self on the internet and deal with their struggles offline. You’re amazing girl! Now roll with it!

Cold Shoulder Look

Image 7-5-17 at 9.03 PM (1)Image 7-5-17 at 9.02 PMImage 7-5-17 at 9.03 PMImage 7-5-17 at 9.03 PMI am actually really in love with this outfit. It’s beyond adorable, affordable, and I think it will transition perfectly into Fall. My top is a cold shoulder number from It’s Fashion Metro. It’s actually a crop top, but I opted to purchase a size Large to make sure it stays at an appropriate length. I purchased it on clearance for around $11.00. My earrings are also from It’s Fashion Metro, and are my favorite earrings for the Summer and were well under $10.00. My jeans are $7.99 from Forever 21 and my wedges are by Guess. I plan on styling this top with a skirt soon, so stay on the lookout and be sure to hit “follow” to receive updates when I post.I hope these outfit posts inspire you and help you find your own style. Happy Wednesday y’all!

Lazy Day – Atheleisure Outfit

IMG_5568lazy 2lazy 3

It’s a new week y’all and I’m sharing an outfit like I’ve never shared before! There is an AMAZING trend going around called “Atheleisure”. It’s a modge-podge of athletic and leisure attire. Going to the gym? Atheleisure. Going to the grocery store? Atheleisure. Going for a run? Atheleisure. Taking a nap? Atheleisure. It’s always the answer. As a dance teacher, I basically live in athletic attire, even when I haven’t been “athletic”. This is one of my favorite outfits.

I found these amazing cropped leggings from Target and I die for the white color blocking. This precious graphic “lazy day” shirt is from Rugged Warehouse, but is by Express. It’s longer in the back, so I love it for teaching! My favorite tennis shoes are Nike’s and are literally 5 years old. They don’t have laces and are the most comfortable get-ups ever – I think they are called Free Runs.

What’s one of your favorite fashion trends right now?

Summer Vibes

It’s Wednesday. I’m finally over a crazy Summer cold (the worst). I’m so excited to share this outfit with y’all! First off – this pink tank. Can we just take a second…omg…so gorgeous! I purchased it from the JCrew factory outlet last season and I’m so excited to finally put it to use. It’s 100% polyester and super soft and breathable, plus the color is to die for. These are my go-to white jeans from TJMaxx by the brand Love Fire. My shoes are from H&M and are seriously so comfy. I’ll probably wear them everyday! This dainty gold choker is from Jane.com by the brand Cents of Style. My bracelet is from JCrew and my tiny star earrings were from American Eagle. I’m loving all the fun outfits that are being introduced to stores, but y’all, I am NOT a fan of all these crop tops! What are your opinions?

I’m so excited to share this week’s Faith Friday with you guys. Be sure to stop back by on Friday to read how God directed my calling.

Dying For Tie-dye

Nothing beats a cotton sundress in the Summer time. Nothing also beats a $7.00 – on – clearance – sundress! I knew this was coming home with me before I even saw the price, which then assured my purchase. I love the flow-y cotton fabric, and I’m OBSESSED with the neckline. High necks are my jam. The dress has somewhat of a synched waist, which is super flattering on most body-types. I paired it with neutral accessories. Now to the important stuff…where everything is from! The dress and clutch are both from It’s Fashion Metro; the shoes are from Old Navy; the sunnies are mega old and I’m not sure where they are from! Let’s pray this week is a quick one. Have a great week friends!
