Nothing beats getting clothes for free, so hand-me-downs are always one of my favorite things. This romper is the product of one of those hand-me-down times! I love the floral details and that it buttons down the front. It’s a skort romper (very 90’s) and is beyond comfortable. It reminds me so much of the rompers made by Show Me Your Mumu – a few similar ones can be found here and here. I paired it with a hat from Forever 21 (similar here) my favorite Lucky Brand Shoes from Belk, and sunnies from It’s Fashion Metro.

I know it’s July. I also know that when I took these pictures it was around 98 degrees, but it’s never too early to think about Fall right?! I styled this bubblegum pink Express Sweater that I purchased from Rugged Warehouse with some of my favorite jeans ever from Gap Factory Store. My sweater reminds me so much of this sweater from Express. I also paired them with these Lucky Brand booties that I purchased last season. My necklace is from Jane.com and my earrings are from It’s Fashion Metro. I think this is a great casual outfit for this coming Fall!

I’ve been seeing a ton of Instagram bloggers share a super fun peplum top. Of course I wanted in on the action, but I wasn’t going to spend the money that these Insta-bloggers dropped, so I went thrifty. By thrifty, I mean TJMaxx! I found this dupe for $15.00 and I’m in love. I’ve worn it so many times in the last couple of weeks. It’s such a staple piece and will be a bomb transition item for Fall. You can wear it with anything – jeans, shorts, leggings – it’s so versatile. I paired it with white jeans, also from TJMaxx, white pumps from Rack Room by XAppeal, a necklace from H&M, earrings from It’s Fashion Metro, watch by Kate Spade, and my purse is by Issac Mizrahi from Rugged Warehouse.

It’s Wednesday. I’m finally over a crazy Summer cold (the worst). I’m so excited to share this outfit with y’all! First off – this pink tank. Can we just take a second…omg…so gorgeous! I purchased it from the JCrew factory outlet last season and I’m so excited to finally put it to use. It’s 100% polyester and super soft and breathable, plus the color is to die for. These are my go-to white jeans from TJMaxx by the brand Love Fire. My shoes are from H&M and are seriously so comfy. I’ll probably wear them everyday! This dainty gold choker is from Jane.com by the brand Cents of Style. My bracelet is from JCrew and my tiny star earrings were from American Eagle. I’m loving all the fun outfits that are being introduced to stores, but y’all, I am NOT a fan of all these crop tops! What are your opinions?
I’m so excited to share this week’s Faith Friday with you guys. Be sure to stop back by on Friday to read how God directed my calling.
I found this precious seersucker button down at Forever 21 and have been wearing it non-stop ever since. It is ever-so-slightly oversized so it is perfect for keeping cool in the heat of the day. I’m a southern belle, so you already know I’m gonna style it with white jeans and a monogrammed necklace! Similar tops can be found here and here.
To start off this week, I want to share a little excerpt from a book I’m reading called “Uninvited” by Lysa TerKeurst. “Pain is the invitation for God to move in and replace our faltering strength with His.” Now, is it Friday yet?
Y’all, there is nothing I love more on a really hot day than a dress – well maybe a snowcream icee – but dresses are a close second. I actually purchased this dress last Summer, but never got around to posting it. I recently re-organized my closet and found this bad boy still in the bag hidden under one of my clothes racks. I have been seeing so many similar dresses being shared by bloggers for upwards of $75. But have no fear. You know I’m here to hook y’all up with the where AND the wear!
Marshall’s. That is where everyone needs to go and stock up on some Summer attire. I actually hit the mac-daddy jackpot last Summer and found about 95% of my wardrobe from this store. I’m a huge fan of mixing preppy and bohemian styles and this was it for me! I love the crocheted lace detailing on the top and bottom. It’s lined (can I get an amen?) and it goes with anything and everything. It’s a great dress to wear to a wedding or graduation.
You can find similar dresses here, here, and here!
On a different note, I wanted to remind you all that you are loved. There are so many times when life may let you down or underwhelm you. You are worthy. No one’s decisions or lack of dedication is a reflection of you. God designed you for a holy purpose. While it’s frustrating to go through seasons of drought, when those blessings do start going your way, they will do so in a FLOOD. Stay focused and stay comforted in His peace. He’s got you! Have a good week friends!
