A Romper You Need In Your Life

Y’all. I’m gonna give a shout out to my mama. She finished her sixth round of chemotherapy and she did it like a boss. She is such an inspiration and has been so graceful through this battle! On another note, I’m a huge proponent of comfort. When I shared the black jumper last week, I NEEDED to get my hands on another one. I got this romper/jumpsuit from Target also and basically live in it – it’s essentially pajamas! I love the pattern. The vertical design makes me feel so much taller even though I’m only 5’3″. You may think the colors are more for summer, but I’m digging them for fall – especially the bright pink (insert heart eye emoji).

Color Trend For Fall

I was shopping at TJMaxx and this burnt orange sweater caught my eye. I wasn’t sure if I loved it or hated it, but as soon as I took it off the rack for a better look, I was in LOVE with it. It is the softest sweater I’ve ever felt, the color is such a huge trend this season, and the ruffled hem adds the sweetest detail. I paired it with flare jeans – which I hardly wear anymore. I can’t wait to wear it to the county fair (hopefully the weather will be cooler) on hay rides and to pumpkin patches! After putting this outfit together, I will most definitely be wearing the flare jeans a ton more. I hope your week is off to a great start.

Would You Wear A Romper To A Wedding?

To start off, I’m going to apologize for being MIA on Monday, life happens and I got super behind schedule, but I’m back! I found this beautiful jumper at Target and immediately thought how lovely this would be to wear to an outdoor event, and if you’re daring, it would even be cute to wear to a wedding. It combines two of my favorite trends: an off the shoulder design and flowy fabric. You absolutely can’t go wrong with those two. I’ve shared these sandals before, but I’m just so excited about them – so here I am – talking about them again! They were around $25 and are a dupe for a designer pair that is around $700….yes, I said $700!! I’ll link each item below. Happy Wednesday, friends!

Did You Say Wine?

Before I even start – this maroon/wine color is going to be a “thing” for me these next few weeks, sorry not sorry! It’s a classic color and sets the perfect Autumn mood. Peplum tops are also a huge fashion trend recently and I was blown away when I found this tank for such an affordable price. I styled this versatile tank with jeans and platform sandals and can’t wait to pair it with a cozy cardigan and boots. You can shop this look along with similar items below!

White on Labor Day

Happy Labor Day! I’ve spent my day being completely lazy. I slept in until 9, had a donut for breakfast, and read In Style Magazine in a kiddy pool in my backyard. I only thought about work like 5 times, but who is really counting?! Props to Target for having this adorable textured tank, that I will, without a doubt keep wearing after Labor Day. I paired it with my favorite Gap Jeans that fit like a glove. My shoes are designer dupes with the designer pair retailing for almost $700 – mine were $19.99 – take that satan lol. Check out my top, jeans, and shoes, as well as the other details of this outfit below. Thanks for reading and I hope you have a fabulous week!

A Little Peplum In Your Step

I’ve had the craziest, busiest, most exciting week so far. Twelve hour days, adorable ballerinas, and sore muscles, but I wouldn’t ask for anything better. Another exciting thing is this adorable outfit. The peplum tee trend has been in full force for me lately. It’s cool, comfortable, and flattering. I found this one on sale at TJMaxx for less than $10 – so I bought 3 colors; this red, a blue, and a black one…*whoops*. I’ll share several similar items from this outfit below. I’m so grateful that you stopped buy and took the time to read my post!

Loving Him Was Red

Did you all catch that Taylor Swift reference? I don’t know about y’all, but I love her latest release. It’s so different from her previous songs, and I’m so excited to hear the whole album when it releases. Today is my first day back in the classroom for the season and I’m so excited. I’m completely in my element when I’m dancing, so I’m excited to have it back in my life pretty much all day everyday! I found this skirt at TJMaxx a couple of days ago and I must say, darling doesn’t even cut it. It completely embodies the hottest trends for fall – suede, button detail, and burnt red. I wanted to keep the other details neutral so the skirt would really pop! You can shop this look and similar looks below. Have a fantastic week friends!
