I spent the last few days in Savannah, GA with my mom partially for a little vacation and partially for work. As the shopping fanatic I am, we obviously had to turn it in to a fashion hunt. I searched for stores that weren’t necessarily “chains” and weren’t “snooty, overpriced boutiques.” That’s when I found Civvies. Oh. My. Gawd.
It’s located on Broughton Street in Downtown Savannah just above a cute little antique furniture store. It’s labeled as a thrift store, but I’d like to call it Heaven. It was pretty “hipster” but there was something for everyone. I found 2 tops, 2 dresses, and a pair of leather Weejuns. All brand new. I wanted to show you my favorite finds!
This blue and white striped button down top from Chicos has the most breathable fabric and is perfect to wear in the heat and humidity. It has a cute tied front and looks great with jeans and shorts.
The next top is just a silky short sleeved peplum top with black and white polka dots. It’s a little longer in the back so it covers a little more and it’s so flattering!
This white BCBGeneration dress is a simple button down shift dress that can literally be worn so many ways. I’m excited to pair it with a jacket, or chunky jewelry, and even tuck it into a skirt. (Ya gotta be bold people!!) The color is great for Spring and Summer and I know I’ll wear this so much!
The last item of the haul was a pair of leather Weejun loafers. I’ve been hunting for a pair with leather bottoms (not the rubber bottoms). I know you’re probably like “be more of a grandma Stacie.” But, before you judge me, I have some ADORABLE Fall outfits planned that REQUIRE (lol) loafers.
Thank you so much for reading. If you’ve found any cute items, share your finds with me! What’s your favorite item in the haul?
This weekend I spent some time in Smithfield, NC at the outlets with my mom. We weren’t looking for anything in particular, we just wanted to see what was out there. I came across this top
at the JCrew Factory
store and because of the great price, I picked it up. It was on sale for $19.99 and they were having an extra discount and it ended up being less than $12.00. They has four colors: pink, black, white, and floral. I loved them all, but I was definitely drawn to this one! I would definitely recommend it. It’s light enough for the Summer but I will also be great for layering this fall.
are from Forever 21
and are their $7.90 jeans. Yes they are cheap. You get what you pay for right? I don’t wear jeans that much so something inexpensive works great for me.
came from Belk
and are by the brand “White Mountain.” They are probably going to be my favorite Fall heels. They aren’t too high, but they aren’t quite grandma shoes either. If you can get your hands on them, definitely purchase them!
What are your thoughts on the tank? Do you think I picked the right color? Let me know in the comments!!
I’ve been receiving monthly Ipsy bags thanks to the suggestion of one of my good friends Tatum. At this point, I don’t think I’d want to do life without this bag! It’s like a little box of chocolate, but instead of chocolate, it’s make up/beauty products. You never know what you’re gonna get!
The great thing about this bag is that most of the products are full size, it’s customizable (you answer a few questions about your makeup preferences), and most of the products are high-end! It’s also $10.00, so it’s super affordable for all the products you get.
In this months bag I received five products
1. Nail polish by Trust Fund Beauty in the shade “No Filter” (it’s a pink-ish gray-ish tan)
2. Felt-tip eyeliner by Model Launcher in the shade “Emerald Isle” (it’s a green-ish aqua)
3. Benefit Cosmetics “Ka Brow” creme gel brow in the shade “5”
4. Concealer Brush by Vasanti
5. Face moisturizer by Befine Food Skin Care
***let me know what products you got in your Ipsy bag this month!***
I LOVE big t-shirts. I love the comfort, I love the look, and I love that Thomas Rhett likes them too. More than that, they make a great outfit. I’ve never been too confident in the way my body looks in fitted clothing, especially shirts. I’m the type of girl that likes to eat if there’s food around, and fitted shirts and food do not mix for me. #bloated
Rather than spend over $20.00 on a piko from a boutique, I used a little creativity and bought 6 of these shirts for the price of one. #blessed
You can pair these with jeans, tuck them into a skirt, tie a cute little knot on the side, and even wear them to the gym. I just added some jewelry, wedges, and white jeans for church this morning. #praisebreak
